The location it has close enough to 2 excellant restaurants, a beach with baboons and a beach bar, and mountain is stunning and awesome. Voelklip is a district that deserves exploring.

mosselberg on grotto beach exceeded my expectations during our valentine's day stay in hermanus. the spacious room had a beautiful ocean view, and the attention to detail was evident in the well-maintained facilities. the staff was incredibly helpful, especially when we were running late for a wedding.

Located in a residential area, this hotel is within walking distance to the beach and offers excellent access to the cliff path. the friendly porter/waiter lent me binoculars and encouraged me to read the whale books, which helped me spot several sightings in Grotto Bay. the room was excellent, with a stunning view of the coastline. the service was top, notch, and the breakfast was cool. the hotel also had a great wine list, with the hermanuspietersfontein bloos rosé being a must, try.

This guest house is tastefully decorated with friendly staff. We watched whales from our breakfast table and enjoyed walks to the beautiful beaches. The suggested taxi service was safe and friendly.

The TV and DSTV setup in our room was not in its best condition, with the decoder not secure and the power cord frequently becoming unplugged. we found it difficult to switch channels using the DSTV remote.
